Alice Marie (Feltz) Eddleman

Alice Marie Eddleman, age 81, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on the early morning of August 21, 2023.

Alice leaves a legacy of involvement in her church Sacred Heart Catholic Church and support of the Knights of Columbus. You could regularly find Alice visiting friends, chatting away over a plate of coconut cream pie. She was known for her love of basketball (Missouri Tigers were always #1 in her book), her fierce competitive spirit playing pinochle, her thriving green thumb and garden, her savvy casino strategy, her soul-deep need for chocolate (which was passed down to all her children and grandchildren), and her devotion to her family.

Alice is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years Robert Eddleman.

Lovingly known as Mom, Grandma, and Gigi, Alice leaves behind her three children Patricia (husband David) Martin, Debra Shoemaker, and David (wife Jackie) Eddleman; seven grandchildren Joey (wife Kaycelyn) Shoemaker, Samantha (husband Steven) Casteel, Terri (husband Cameron) Griot, Rebecca Martin, Allison Eddleman, Kathryn Martin, and Lyndsey (husband Jean-Pierre) Leroy; and great-grandaughter Charlee Jo Shoemaker.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 9:30-11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral Mass will follow beginning at 11:30am Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Daniel Robles officiating. Burial will take place at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Fredericktown, Missouri later that afternoon.
