Alex Lee Dugas

Alex Lee Dugas, 63, of Pangburn, AR, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, on his son David’s birthday.

Alex was born on January 26, 1960, to Alexander and Ora Faye (Croy) Dugas in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Tina Morse on February 16, 1991, in Broseley, Missouri.

Alex had a very loving and energetic personality. He was laid back and always went with the flow, never meeting a stranger. He was a talented dancer and skater. Alex enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Alex was a spiritual person. He will truly be missed by all those who knew him.

Alex is survived by his wife, Tina Dugas; son, Jerry (Shelby) Franklin; two daughters, Stephanie (Jim) Whitmer and Deidre Todd; three brothers, Larry (Judy), Dale, and Roy (Helen) Dugas; two sisters, Janelle Wells and Wanda Porter; eight grandchildren, Trey, Corbin, Reagan, Owen, Chase, Bradley, Taya, and Samantha; one great-granddaughter on the way, Oakland; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Alex was preceded by in death by parents; son, David Franklin Dugas; sister-in-law, Arvella Dugas; brother-in-law, Bill Porter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 5:00-7:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at New Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler County with Reverend Jim Schremp officiating.
