Addie Louise

Addie Louise Wilson Null, 83, of Wappapello died Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center, in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Null was born Jan. 16, 1925, in Wayne County, near Rabbit Ridge. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and had retired as a nursing home med-tech, in Puxico. She had also worked as a personal home caregiver and as a saleslady for Sarah Coventry jewelry. Mrs. Null enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In 1939, she was married to Willard R. Null. He preceded her in death in 1991.

Survivors include six children, Loman L. Null, of Wappapello, Larry Wayne Null and wife Jan, of Scott City, Mo., Wanda Louise Wilson and husband Fred, of Stonefort, Ill., David Null and wife Mary, of Kennett, Mo., Edward Null and wife Linda, of Dexter, Mo., and Phillip Null and wife Sheila, of Bethalto, Ill., 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Orie King, of Texas and Lona Benson, of Comfort, Texas.

Her parents, Raimen and Mary Ellen (Cook) Wilson, two sisters, an infant Gertie Wilson and Gladys Sweet, and two brothers, an infant Arlie Wilson and Earl Wilson.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wappapello Chapel with the Rev. Lee Cook officiating. Burial will be at the Wilfong Cemetery, in Wayne County.
